yeah, but if it is a 6 year old they could have been told that even if it isn't the case
when I was small my mum used to tell me the jingle sounds wafting from the distance was the bread man, not the ice cream man. I've completely forgiven the bitch now.
Oh man, that’s rough. That did make me giggle though. “Bread man’s outside side, mum!” “Yes dear…..”

I hope this Joe thing isn't a hoax. But re-reading the note, it mentions they have no money and his mum has to pay for school meals. If they were in that position, wouldn't he be eligible for free school meals? I could be wrong. But from my own experience growing up, I was eligible for free school meals as my parents divorced and we had no money really for a while
It's just a little detail that caught my eye. I genuinely hope this isn't a hoax as the GoFundMe has highlighted just how great football fans can be
You can be quite poor and not qualify for FSM, an income of just over 16k would count you out. FT work at minimum wage is over that. But if this kid is 6 1/2 he should be in year 2 primary where FSM are still universal. Mind you his mum might well be worrying about how they'll cope in September when that ends in Y3 if she's working full time. I can see a 6 year old being told they can't afford football because they're going to have to pay for school meals in those circumstances. What a shifty fucking country it's turning into....

My parents spent £10k on double glazing so we couldn’t hear the fucking ice cream van!

Bugger me you must have eaten a lot of ice cream to make the cost benefit analysis of that work out.

I suppose coming from a rich Tory family that always was an option on the cards Before you go off on one (you won't since you have ignored me for a long time unless one of your pals informs you to take a look ), the above paragraph is indeed a joke.

Dramamine by Modest Mouse is probably a good metaphor for summing up perceived societal ignorance led by subtle (or not so) indoctrination - disguised as modern freedom.
Plus it's a cracking tune!
Apologies, is that too deep an observation for the TEF?

I've heard it all now😀 It's a good job he didn't play in the Ashes Test matches over the last few decades!

Whilst it is justified, been interesting to see the Newcastle fans knocking one out about it on socials. Probably better if he concentrated on scoring goals... 😉
