Fantastic performance by Town, only let down was the local police failing to stop a cowardly attack by teenage Scunthorpe ‘hooligans’ in the pub beer garden ten mins before kick off. Fair play to the fans that stood up for themselves, all the police had escorted what I assume they thought could be potential Town trouble makers and this just allowed Scunny scrotes to move in.

Apologies for being late to the party. Been out with a friend touring Roman sites in and around Ciren today, which is why I could not go. However.

GOAL
GOAL
GOAL
GET THE FUCK IN.
I LOVE CLEM.

What a fucking seismic result and no doubt a gladiatorial performance by the team, management and all the back room staff. Seeing the Twitter clips has bought moistness to my eyes literally. So, so proud and man hugs to all you heroes who made the trip.

OMG on cloud nine at the mo. I just want to scream.

PS. I hope my nephew enjoyed the day out.

Forgot to do this!

Garner:
- Cant give players enough credit after only 2 weeks preparation
- 18 and 19 year olds making league debuts
- So many positives
- Character to come back was exceptional
- A reward for everyone's hard work since he's been here
- What turned things around? Started passing ball better
- Goal galvanised us
- Bit hesitant at spells in first half
- KKH getting penalty gave us the penalty and momentu,
- Gladwin only had 45 mins prior to this
- Managed last 15-20 really well
- Critchlow coming on (and East) helped us manage the game really well
- Pleasantly surprised at fitness levels. Thought last 20 would be tough
- Threat from set pieces but kept them at bay on the pitch
- Even Parsons did his part breaking up play
- Simpson was finding his bearings in first half. In the second he was outstanding
- Team spirit fantastic. Not just the team but the whole club.
- Everyone grafting and pitching in to get the club going again
- Enjoyed every moment since coming in
- Disappointing to go behind but every player marched back with the ball
- Every single player went infront of brilliant support for each goal
- Good base. Plenty to work on and improve.
- Couldn't be much better though given 2 weeks preparation. Credit to the players
- Lewis Read is someone Garner had admired from afar. Outstanding signing. Worked hard over the last 2 weeks to get that over the line. Key part of the team. Registered after the deadline. Can start on Tuesday
- Critchlow. Great presence. Powerful in the air. Think he'll be a strong signing
- Ryan East. Came through at Reading. Scott Marshall knows him well. Took a week to settle in. Adds more depth and strength
- We'd like 2 more in in a couple of positions. Then we'll reassess.
- Dont want a big squad. A quality tight knit one

Brilliant result. Unbelievably happy especially considering the last few months.
Spoke to Father out in Spain straight after. Dancing in the streets of the Costa Blanca!!
In all of that we took a moment to think of Bury fans. Their fate could have been ours.
Sent some good wishes to Rochdale fans as they fight off the leaches.
Roll on next Saturday. STID.

I honestly don't know what's going on. We've got an owner that cares and seems to be a good bloke, a manager who knows what he's on about, players who work hard, have talent and actually care, and fans back in the ground in full voice.

Hopefully I'll have the feeling a lot, and I hope I never get used it.

Come on you beautiful reds.

Just got back home, what a great game, I haven’t enjoyed a match like this for ages.
Great to see Clem in amongst the red army second half. And I definitely woke up this morning feeling fine.

Lots of positives and I can see a few weeks together things starting to gel, our warm up looked professional, coaches on the pitch going through the routines with purpose, far to easy to collect injuries at the start of season. Great to see Steve Milldenhall, congratulate JJ for a save made pre match as well. All positives for team building. Special mention to Anthony Grant, he operated like the young guns minder, top professional performance, hope he gets his badges will be a top coach IMO.

I was not quite sure what to expect, but we look a professional outfit, which under the circumstances is a credit to all, didn’t know whether to endure Cambridge next week, but definitely going now to look at the rest of the squad.

Young lad upfront making his debut, looked out of it first half, but played really well second, three shots on target, resulted n two brilliant saves, and a goal for Harry on the rebound of number 3

Hate to make predictions on one match, but we are not going down, and 45 more performances like this we will be play off material

What an enjoyable day that was, cracking result and display.
Considering this team have only just been put together they looked assured and worthy of the win.

All players put in a shift, keeper apart from pen was good. Conroy Decent, Baudry and Hunt solid.
Kesler-Hayden stand out performer, we have a talent here.
Grant was the Daddy.
Loved McKirdy just because you don’t know what you are going to get, exciting watching him have a go.
Gladwin struggled a little but then pulls out a cracking goal. Payne industrious and Simpson (brute) really got going Second half, more to come from him.
They all did their job and Pep must have been pleased from the side lines.

Great meeting Clem in the services on way up. Approachable and friendly.
Just the perfect away day.
We’ve got our Swindon back. Some cracking Lee Power songs Smiley

Clem in the away end and our support was loud throughout.
Great to see the old faces and just how much I have missed being on the road.
