I played at an open mic night in front of Jean-Jaques Burnell and Baz Warne (off the stranglers) for the past two weeks, and have only just found out who they were. Despite Baz warne doing a pretty darn decent cover of golden brown. woooooooo
That would be Jean-Jacques Burnel and Baz Warne of The Stranglers.

I don't pick up on spellings often, but you don't mis-spell a Strangler!

Paul Jewell.

Met him with Bushey Boy years ago before we played Wigan. As we were having a photo taken with him I told what a shit job I thought he ahd done getting Sheffeild Wenesday relegated. He went fucking mental and stormed off shouting "you can't talk to me like that, this my club, my fucking club!"

At the start of May Im doing a few shows with Hugh Laurie.  Who I guess due to House is now pretty bloody enourmous.  I shall make sure I get to chat to him so I can claim him as my famous person.

What job do you do gk? If you don't mind me asking.

More specifically, I work freelance but mainly for 2 big live music promoters, Live Nation and SJM concerts, going around the country and running their gigs from day to day.
