From last nights performance, we seem to be improving. It was good to see the encouraging posts on this Forum and an active MoM topic.
I'm therefore keeping the upward looking theme titles for this match.
I say a 2-1 win with Sheridan promoted to 'God like status' if we pull it off.

The second we have hope, we implode. I'm fearful.
Same team as last night, bar Lyden for Palmer and Hunt for Conroy.

5 - 2 home win.
Garrick hat trick, 2 goals from Twine.
Sheridan wins over the doubters and Sgt Spooge will revel in the glory.

Northampton haven't won in 10 league games and only 1 win in 15 league games.
Swindon 0-3 Northampton

According to the Cobblers forum, its looking likely they will appoint current caretaker manager Jon Brady before Saturday as full time manager.
The 46 year old Aussie has only managed at Brackley previously and never higher than the Confernece North level.
He would be the cheap option after promotion from the U18 team to 1st team.
Some of their slightly more deluded fans (yes I know we have a few too) genuinely think they have a chance of signing Paul Cook even though he turned down Cardiff City recently!

Taking note of Swindons historic habit of doing well against teams they should lose to then going on to lose to teams they should beat can only see a Cobblers win here.
Tempted to pile on at the 2/1 being offered.

After two decent results I think we'll be back to normal. Hopefully we can use the Lincoln game as a base.

Had a read of the Cobbelrs forum and they seem very optimistic about beating us tomorrow.
I was surprised to see just how shit their results have been.
In the league they have just 1 win in the last 14 league games with 5 games drawn and 8 defeats picking up just 8 points.
In that time they have scored just 7 times, but in 14 games they have only managed to score in 3 of those games! 11 games they failed to even get 1 goal in. In those games they have conceded 22 times.
The Northampton score is first in each result 0-2, 0-4, 0-4, 3-1, 0-0, 1-2, 0-0, 0-2, 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 0-0, 3-4, 0-0. Thats LLLWDLDLDLLDLD.
In the same 14 match run Swindon have by contrast Swindon picked up 9 point winning 3 times with 3 draws scoring 15 goals and conceding 24 times and failing to score in 5 of those games.
A run of LLDLWLDLLWLLWD.
It appears that the shoe boys have a problem scoring (famous last words for any Swindon defence!).
Their joint top scorers are Sam Hoskins, Danny Rose and Harry Smith on 4 goals with Smith no longer at the club.
They have ex town players Mark Marshall, Alan Sheehan and ex Town loaneed Lloyd Jones n their books as well as assistant manager Marc Richards.
Swindon have recent signing from the Cobblers Christopher Missilou and ex Norfamps loanee Hallam Hope.
Play like we did on Tuesday and we will easily beat them, play like we did against Crewe and we could lose against this lot.

I saw a child coming out of Halfords today wearing a Northampton Town shirt. I'm taking this as a sign we're going to run all over them tomorrow.

Are you sure it was a child and not Mark Marshall doing training in full kit?
