Tonight was a test of character. Games like this break a weak team. I saw one or two men out there who weren't prepared to be humiliated. If you can't consider this a traditional MoM poll, who remained a fighter in a losing cause?

Matt Smith was the only player on the pitch for much of the game - And he didnt have a great game!

The pitch looked good, so the Groundsman gets my vote.

M Smith. It's a concern that him and Grant A appeared to be running on empty. They could do with some help in there.

I voted for Fryer to piss off the ever growing band of Fryer haters.
TBF he did ok after the 3rd went in and made a few saves to keep the numbers down.

I can't vote as I didn't watch it, but if I had to choose then it would be one of the pigeons in the Arkells stand roof.

Oh come on JJ he is beyond terrible, he's literally that bad with the ball at his feet that passing the ball back to him is a lottery. We've some how ended up with 2 keepers that make the RCC and Stuart Moore dream team look competent.

He is terrible TBH but so is Kovar, I couldn't honestly say hand on heart that Kovar wouldn't have made exactly the same mistakes last night as Fryer, they are like goalkeeping twins. Your comment about RCC and Moore rings very true.

Kovar wouldn't have let the first in as at the very least he is decent with his feet, but other than that fair point. I just don't get how someone as bad with the ball at his feet as Fryer has made it to professional level, even on Saturday it was panic stations every time the ball was passed back to him.

I said something like that on my blurb in the matchday thread. One of my pet hates are keepers that seem unable to get their laces behind the bloody thing and clear it properly. Fryer never hits it cleanly and either shanks, slices or hooks the ball, sometimes straight up in the air. Surely if your keeper can't get rid of the bloody thing properly this can't really inspire confidence in the rest of the team?
