The Swindon Town Swoodilypoopers would like to congratulate the actual Swindon Town on one of the great games I've ever watched in grainy low-definition on the Internet. What a beautiful win! On to the fourth round!
Fantasy football. Who needs Fat Lucas? We've got Fab Wes. Could only have been bettered by replacing the commentary with a fascinating analysis of the US economy.

Superb performance from all our lads. A few showed they could step up a level or two easily.

Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio: "I'm very happy for all these people [fans]. We can make something special for these fans. I want to dedicate this win to them and also my father [who died recently]."
I think I love him a little bit.

Wife working today so I'm home alone with two boys. Just back from a soft play area in Sandhurst.
So what happened?

was the winner offside?
Benson was offside but it wasn't given so technIcally the answer is 'no' as the goal counted... In fairness the ref saw the deflection but couldnt see Benson was offside and the liner saw he was offside but didn't see the deflection...

we need to tie him down to a long term contract because the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal try to sign him on the cheap in the January transfer window. He's been consistently on great form this season.

Could the BBC not come up with a better photo than the Swindon one on here, some fat lads and what appears to be a derelict ground, nice http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16454953.stm

Wow! Wow! Wow! I really didn't think we'd do that!
- Benson goal was definitely offside - We were unlucky not to get one if not two penalties - Connell was knackered but we lost our outlet when he went off. Magera played much deeper and had little influence on the game (except for wasting the last 3-4 mins in the corner) - Caddis must have run miles today! The amount of ballsl played behind the midfield for him to run on to were too numerous to count - Benson looked very 'intelligent' up front. He took up a number of good positions and looked a handful - Wigan offered no threat down our left in the second half - McManaman ripped us a new hole in the first half, but was anonymous in the second - Flint stayed on his feet in the second half and looked a lot more assured - Jeremy Wray looked happy. His good lady was a bit of a hottie too! - Noticed Fitton sat behind Wray, wearing a Swindon scarf - PDC with a tear in his eye at the end
That was a really good performance. Hope we don't let this distract us from the league though!
