I note with interest that the studio has been set up between the corner of the south stand/bank - with none other than Tommy Mooney as guest. Now there's someone who is going to get some abuse this afternoon!!! Surely a slightly silly place to put him from a safety point of view!

I love it when a game is on like the other night (I think it was Blackpool v Hull) and you can hear, as clear as day, the fans singing, "Chris Kamara you're a wanker, you're a wanker" and they have to try to carry on as normal. Funny as

I might have to sacrifice my trip to the bar at half time if the crowd are gonna partake in a few verses/choruses of "tommy mooney what a wanker..." even though I don't really mind the bloke, he'd take it in good spirit no doubt.

The funny thing is going to be his proximity to the rowdy lot in the corner of the south stand - he's gonna get some serious shit today hahaha ... poor bloke.

I was on the Stratton Bank for the FA Cup tie vs Aston Villa in 1992 when they built a makeshift TV studio on scaffolding above the terrace. Anyone else remember the fans throwing gravel up at the perspex front of the studio, much to the irritation of Jimmy Hill?

I cycled to Swindon from Oxford (where I was living) and back again just to buy tickets for that game. I'm hardcore. (Well, I was back then.)
