Sounds like a pretty comprehensive 1-0 - need more strength in midfield + consistent scorer(s) up front - the view of someone who can't get to a match home or away - shoot me down now please Got to the allotment this pm to find someone had nicked all my earlies and half my mains (spuds) - any policemen fans to give me any tips - most of the other allotment holders are pensioners so they won't run away :old: :old:

I do think another central midfielder would be beneficial but given who was missing today and given Forest's home form I'm not going to get disheartened by a 1-0 loss

My thoughts are that we played away to a team with better players than ours, and we held our own which is commendable.
I am still undecided on Malpas, althoguh my opinion of him is tilting positively.

nothing much between to the two sides.
Pook at fault for the goal, did really well to win the ball off of Agogo then took it forward, held onto it too long, ran into trouble lost it....through ball....then Tysons squeezed it past Brez at the near post.

First half we were decent and had a few chances, Brez made a superb save. Second half Forest were much the better side. For the goal, Pook did well to win a tackle then did nothing with it, lost the ball and Tyson was clean through for a 1 on 1 with Brez... decent finish perhaps should have saved it though. Forest missed two absolute sitters once they were a goal up, McGugan (?) was the worst managed to work his way through the defence just the keeper to beat, from about 10 yards and he put it over the bar.

Brez got caught out at the near post tbh it was a good finish by tyson. 1st half display was pretty decent we made some chances and was not clynical in front off goal. 2nd half we were poor u can see forest had a bollocking at ht by Calderwood and were dominant through out the 2nd half.

i though we were shit to be honest, not once did we look like scoring, Blair Sturrock is so shit, he just went through motions and didnt seem to try at all, Pook was very shit, McNamee looked bright but Chambers had the better of him, also McNamee should never try to use his right foot again!

Comminges had a decent game as did Paynter who did pretty much everything that was asked of him(apart from score of course)Ifil and Aljofree did pretty well but we were very poor in the midfield and Paynter got no assistance. The ref was a fucking homer-Forest players knew that they only had to fall over to get a free kick-several of them in dangerous areas.Couldnt understand Malpas' reshuffle when we seemed to play a squashed up 4-3-3 with no width at all.All in all I thought we just edged the first half but were a poor second in the second. And a big boo to the licensed victuallers of Nottingham who forced us to drink at Notts County(if you were lucky enough to get served). The Police escort to the ground was erm interesting.Shout of the day from DV"Bring on Perch-we need a goal!"
