Trivial things you don't understand/mildly annoy you

Arrived at Devonport docks 45 minutes early, waiting two hours for an escort into the docks to unload. Now if I’d arrived two hours late…

However, every cloud has a silver lining. Nipped round to the Ivor Dewdney Pasty shop. OMG. Scoffed an extra large one and have two to take home. A bit to much salt if I’m being critical but stiff scoffed it down.

Just love the peppered steak ones, always bring some home when in the area.  Used to deliver just outside Plymouth,  if tipped too early always used to hang about until the van came around tooting his horn.

If he was doing this purely out of moralistic value and not cashing in (which like FH, I believe he is) then surely wouldn't he be suing his own parents for exploiting him, at an age when he had neither the maturity or freedom to choose?

The fact that he was then later ok with doing a reproduction (that he was talked out of) as an adult probably wouldn't come into it much, other than that he was now making a conscious choice for himself. I think it's more telling of whoever he's trying to sue (record label I guess). His parents ultimately agreed to the shoot and signed model releases as well as any other agreements including payment. If he's got a genuine axe to grind it should be with them.

Or are his parents also running a story on how they were "tricked" into allowing their newborn son to be naked on a high profile shoot with zero consultation or briefing at all and trash talking to the tune of something like "those nasty Nirvana band members are all closet paedos". Likelihood is the band members knew nothing of the shoot until A&R showed them some album cover examples. Even if they were told, they probs wouldn't have been listening anyway!

Finally, other than making a bit of cash why? Surely it'd be fucking cool to say in a bar as a track from that album comes on..."The baby on that album cover? That's me." Now plenty would say you're talking bollocks but it'd be better than looking a right cunt saying "I was the baby on that album and guess what? I sued there asses felicia!"

Plus, I'm pretty certain he could have sold an autobiography to a publisher about "How I Became The Most Famous Baby In The World (Until That CGI Ally McBeal Bastard Oogachaka'd Me Off The Top Spot)" for about a £1m.

Perhaps the cynic in me but they wouldn't happen to be releasing a 'new' Nirvana album anytime soon would they? ("Here's kurt cobain strumming 4 chords" followed by a remaster of 3 songs and a track where the band were cocking about and then another 4 tracks off the original album).

Seems just the kind of 'get you back in the news' piece some record label exec would think of. Get the kid to complain, pay him off in an "agreeable out of court settlement" so the band look good. Everyone is 'reminded' of the band for the new album release. Dave Grohl buys another island. Win win.

I do think these people literally test the waters of what is morally/legally acceptable and look to push it so far that they get 'cancelled' and then use the fact they have been 'cancelled' to say that freedom of speech is under threat.

Having friends in 'the arts' who've had to work with him, can confirm Lawrence Fox is a massive knobhead.
