A lot will be said about Paynters second goal, but his ball in for Austin was fucking superb seeing it on the highlights.

I felt like a right plum for not going to southampton. Not going to this hasn't made me feel much better Sad

I was expecting WW3 outside the ground.

They'd pretty much all gone home, although I did get threatened by possibly the chavviest looking man I've ever seen, who whispered to me as I was crossing the road outside he was going to break my legs. I laughed, as he had about half the West Yorkshire Constabulary stood about three feet behind him.

Did anyone watch The Football League Show, a Town fan called Kevin e-mailed in, and I quote:

"We don't do it in style, we do it the hard way, Wembley here we come"

WTF?Huh? What a totally fucking wierd thing to say and totally missing the point. Has he looked at the league table recently I wonder?

On chants, I tried starting 6-0 on aggregate about 10 minutes before it actually took off and failed miserably as I was in the middle bit that wasn't singing as much.
I was there too which is why my "We came to Leeds and took the piss" didn't register at all beyond my brother! But I did start it, just no bugger joined in.

Ha, just remembered one of the (many) things that made me smile yesterday. We put the radio on BBC Leeds United (0) 0 - 3 (6) Swindon Town (0) 0 - 3 (6) Swindon Town on the way home so we heard Grayson's post-match interview. Apart from sounding completely shell-shocked, he also included the memorable bon mot that our third goal "completely took the sails out of our wind" Smiley

...and this one: “Probably 80-90% of any sport is played between your head,”

Well, that's exactly what those "txt in your views" things are designed for - those hardcore fans who never miss checking on the results of a single game but don't have a fucking clue.

Can't help but think the text substitution on Leeds has gone a bit mental

EDIT: He posts, just as the mods turn it off, thereby making me look a complete tit. Thanks, chaps

Same coach then I think. Such a freaking long way, think I'll go all KoT and get a plane next time...I'll start saving now.
