thought you wanted trollope?

Less of me wanting, more someone the fans will take to because of his surname without him having a legend status to ruin. Also he's improved Rovers every year.

Probably a more likely or rather realistic shout than Billy Davies. He's been out the game for a year now and I'd like to know why.

Is he waiting for a decent job to come up or would he accept anything?

No you prove me wrong?

You started it.  Roll Eyes

What sort of proof do you require?

What's 'a correct source'?

Why shouldn't he have been there any way?

It's not that far fetched is it?

"Out of work West Country manager goes to game within an hour of where he lives"

Hardly Sunday Sport material is it??

Does the Sunday Sport still exist? I hope so.

Holloway was never at the game total rubbish. Unless someone proves me wrong.
I can't prove it one way or another, but we went and got tickets for the Wovers game after the match today and chatting to the ticket office staff, they were adamant that Holloway and Paul Jewell were both there. Now I'm pretty damn sure Jewell wasn't there for the manager's job as he seems to be turning things round at Derby, and even if Holloway was, it doesn't mean he's being lined up for the manager's job either - it's fairly common for out of work managers to get to as many games as they can to keep their hand in. To take two random examples, heard both Martin Allen and Mike Newell on the radio recently (before their recent reappointments natch) saying they'd been doing just that

Oh and we were shit today, obviously. Cox and Morrison put the effort in, as did Peacock second half (although as someone else said somewhere, it was a bit late). Amankwaah should be charged with pitch invasion and banned from all grounds for a year - the law says you're only allowed on the playing surface if you're a football player, a match official or medical staff. He was none of the above

No was told here was a "scouts and managers section today" by someone I know who works at the club. Holloway was not there but Jewell was scouting a Huddersfield player.

Holloway wasn't in the scouts and managers section - I entirely agree with you.

If you read the rest of the thread, you'll realise he was in the Town End.

Oh, and what Tans said re the Jewell scouting thing...
