NY Jets is my team!  I'm just not sure who I'd support if Swindon ever played them though, talk about divided loyalties.

Gary Imach was US Football coverage's version of James Richardson!  Not as smooth though.

I tried watching the super bowl but it was very dull.

Just 10 seconds of action stop for a minute so they can show the players waving, 10 seconds of play, advert, 10 seconds of play, advert....repeat. :|

When it first cam onto C4 I was into it (Chicago Bears, the Fridge, etc).

Managed to go to an Oakland Raiders v Seattle seahawks game in 99 (I think). Despite thier chearleaders saying otherwise their fans wern't crazy, at least not at the game.

Nothing beats a good atmosphere at a 'proper' football game.

American footie can be dull if you don't understand the sport.  Once you get a sound knowledge I find the breaks in play seem shorter and shorter.  The second and fourth quarters especially can be fast flowing and full of excitement.

Holding - defence number 87, 10 yard penalty - automatic first down!!!

I love it.  It's not on late though, they show a game at 6.00pm and the second one starts at 9.00pm. How early do you go to bed fatbury?Huh?

My team is the Cincinnati Bengals. (I just like the name and LOVE those tiger stripe helmets Oops  Oops ) I've followed them since the mid 80's when C4 started showing it and the afore mentioned Bears were ripping all and sundry to pieces (how times change).  The Bengals have been pretty much sucking ass since about 1990 so this season I'm getting rather excited as they are 5 and 1

They're playing the Steelers at home this Sunday and it's being shown in Sky (that's at 6.00pm fats) Cool

It is a massive game which I am looking forward to very much indeed.

OOh Shaun .. I can never catch the 6 o clock game as I tend to watch Spanish or Brazilian footy .. watch the 10 o clock game but it ends soooo late ... like 12:30 normally and Ill be up at 6 the next day

But I guess you are right .. it isnt that late .. just would be nicer if it were on during the day i guess  Cool
