I've got acouple of tunes, the one off the c86 tape - This Boy Can Wait - and I love it. However, I've also got a tune by them called Brassneck from some 80's compilation CD I bought awhile ago and it's very different. Typically, the one from the c86 is suitably jangly and indie but Brassneck's much harder and rockier.

Which are they usually like and what album is worth getting?

If I were you I'd get Tommy or George Best.
