Rovers close to sealing Igoe deal

Igoe has played just seven times in all competitions for Millwall
Bristol Rovers are poised to complete the loan signing of Millwall midfielder Sammy Igoe later in the week.
The 30-year-old said he was unhappy at the Championship club after playing just five league matches for the Lions.

"It's been horrible and soul destroying as it's hard playing reserve football, sitting on the bench or watching games," Igoe told Rovers' website.

"Not figuring in the manager's plans is tough. When I heard of the interest from Rovers I jumped at the chance."

Does anyone think he could still do a job for us? We could benefit from a bit of experience and our wingers aren't exactly setting the world alight this year - neither shakes or brown have been prolific. Although there were many times when he looked like a lazy piece of crap, he was a match winner and when he put himself about he looked dangerous.
