quite a few people have mentioned this on here but my local has started selling it so i sampled a pint earlier in the week.

fucking brilliant. i do like a pint of cider but strongbow et al is too gassy and acidic after a pint but magners is pure gold. absolute king.

£3.30 for a pint is a bit steep however.

i just discovered magners is the non-eire brand name for bulmers, which i drank constantly when i was in ireland last. absolutely gorgeous stuff.

right sod this i'm moving to ireland.

I must try that cider, I like a pint occasssionally but strongbow is nasty, blackthorn is OK, but Westons stuff is the best, nice bit of old rosie sorts you out.

I think, although I'm not 100% it's to do with the musician Brian Emo who's a sort of Goth.  Google image search...
