If we did why the fuck have the US got 3 of the major tournaments.
Don't really know why I am interested or how I started considering it; golf is not a sport anyway. :?

We did invent Football, rugby, cricket, tennis, badminton, snooker (invented by an englishman in india I think), etc.
Pretty sure basketball was invented by an englishman in the late 19th centuary. Might be completely wrong though.

We did invent Football, rugby, cricket, tennis, badminton, snooker (invented by an englishman in india I think), etc.
Pretty sure basketball was invented by an englishman in the late 19th centuary. Might be completely wrong though. Think the Surrender Monkeys claim tennis, hence the silly scoring system, and love and stuff. Basketball was certainly invented in America....I'm guessing by an American. |

I'm not sure we 'invented'football ,i thought that there was a ancient Chinese version of a similar game?Probably wrong. What we did do was codify the game and set up the first professional body [Ha Ha] to run the glorious ,beautiful game in our wonderful country.Hence the F.A and not the E.F.A. |
