He seems to have come on quite a bit since the summer, which can only be a good thing!

Platt looks one of our better summer signings, I know King signed him....but I do wonder why he never got a look in under King, esp when we had Paddy Collins who was awful.
Yet, I do feel for him today....not even making the squad after last weeks performance

Yet, I do feel for him today....not even making the squad after last weeks performance With someone like CCP though, who's moving to a new town and played next to no first team football, a good manager like King gives them a bit of time to get themselves settled and then show what they can do. With a loan player like Collins, he's played plenty in this league for a just promoted side and we've only got him for a few months, so its entirely logical to see him as a better bet.

He didn't look very good pre-season, but he's come on tons, which is the norm for a King brought in player. He had quite a following before joining us though, I remember at Crawley, some non Crawley/Town fans were there just to meet him and shake his hand. Bizarre :?

his mum was sitting in front of us yesterday and a posse of about 5-10 friends. can't be bad for the club if they increase the attendance at every game

CCP always has a big following at games, remember that gang that looked like hooligans we saw at Huddersfield....they were all he mates, he came in the stand to talk to them afterwards
