Just tryin to clear up a discussion that started on 'thisisstfc' and i thought id find the views of the proper STFC fans rather than the 15 year old chavs that have seem to taken over that forum.

I personally think Iffy is a much better manager than King for many reasons and of course, Ben Wah has been backin King.....

Far too early to tell whether Iffy is a good manager yet!

The poll isn't going to be fair as Iffy is still in and around his honeymoon period, so doubtless he'll win.

King odviously had a number of achievements from keeping us up, taking us to the playoffs, signing Parkin, maing a profit on transfers etc. etc.

Iffy's achievements so far are beating Bristol City, although they are probably the only team in the league who are worse than us anyway.

On the other hand even though he's not been in the job long, we've had some bad moments, Boston home and away, Peterborough and yesterday amongst the worst.

However it's much too early to compare really as Iffy's only been in the job 12 games, personally I don't think the signs look too good at the moment. Iffy was looking ok after the Bristol city game but seems to have lost his way.

We need to wait a lot longer before any fair decision can be made.

It's not a case of allowing them to leave for free. Not much choice really, if you can only offer them less money then it's to be expected. When they're out of contract there's no way we can't just hold them hostage at the club against their will when they can get more money elsewhere.

I mean honeymoon period in the sense that fans are always going to go easier on a manager when he's only been in the job a couple of months. If these recent results had come after a couple of years in the job, Iffy would be under a lot of pressure now.

It is often the case that with new managers that the players play better as they're trying to impress their new manager.  i.e.  They motivate themselves so less work for manager.

Was watching the playoff games this morning, I couldn't help but smile when his interview was on, dunno why really, at times his decisions would infuriate me whereas Iffy will normally do things wisely.
My vote is with King though.
