You're right Ralphy, makes me feel bad about my post on the ghostbusters post. Still going to watch that though, + i gave to a whipround at work today.

Like you, wish I could give more, not rich either, or solvent really!

I find the whole Children in need TV thing makes me feel quite ill.It's full of celebs either plugging something or trying to revive their flagging careers, and big companies extracting money from their employees and presenting the proceeds on big cheques with their logo emblazoned on the front.

I agree. Its a sad indictment of British society that we can't provide for the needy kids without resorting to such behavior. Sadly its been going on for 30 years plus, and I can't see it ending soon.
