If you plead not guilty, there is a trial.
If you plead guilty, does it skip the trial by jury and go straight to sentencing?
Sorry for being ignorant, I know all about trial by jury, but wondered whether your plee makes a difference or not (apart from length of sentence some time)

That is about all I know about the law, except it is illegal to kill someone and drive over 70 miles per hour in the UK. |

I don't think there were too many witnesses for the townend guy. Yes im sure he'll be safe as long as they dont bring up the pictures in the Adver. I suspect hes doing it to waste time and when he goes to Crown he will change his plea. |
