today david russell launged a stinging attack on his crtitics, who had claimed that the way his hungarian honeys romped home to victory in the world cup opener was "disgraceful" and "cheating"
russell was not present in the dug out, but assured the media he was watching from the sanctity of the stands, and was impressed with the way his team dealt with a sloppy start to return to form and secure victory
"the lads done good" said a delighted russell... "i couldn't have asked for more" he said to the gathering press. when questioned about the personal allegations of 'rattishness' issued at him by defeated opposition manager raplhy, he merely smiled, waved 3 fingers towards the camera as if to gesticulate 3 points and returned to the dressing room
