Someone I used to work with died of cancer today. I didn't know him particularly well personally but he was a top bloke with a snazzy line in waistcoats.
He had no family or friends outside of work and would be the first in and last out every single day.
It's such a fucking sad, lonely and horrible way to die.
R.I.P.

i know a bloke at work and when asked for emergency contact person details he said he didn't have anyone - basically saying no-one outside of work would notice if he died. very sad.
