Possibly....my gramp years ago around xmas dropped a tv on his leg and broke it but didnt see a doctor till about 6 weeks afterwards!! had been walking around on a broken leg for 6 weeks!!

However, in reality 'rus has been put in plaster and given crutches for a reason

My Wife's scared of flying too, but has just managed 10 flights on a round the world trip, thanks to Captain Stacey L Chance.
