Inspired me to download something day of the triffids rellated. Had a vague memory of the book being awesome so I went for the 1957 BBC Audio production of it. Top stuff. There are some important lessons to be learned from day of the triffids. How society must adapt in the face of failing a failing civilisation; the morals that previously served having to be dropped in order to survive against new adversities. Also. 1) Never watch astronomical events without protective eye wear. 2) Stay away from walking plants. |
