How much is the insurance on your beloved type-r, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm after a new motor. Either the type-r, golf gti/r32, or the new astra vxr...

I'd choose any of those but the new shape Golf.  They've ruined a classic, IMO

You can get a two year old one for about 16k. Insurance is £686.

for 20K you could get a jag e type, or any modern and scarcely used exec cruiser like a jag, BMW or Merc, get an old 850 BMW, super quick for 20K you can get a totally mint one, much cooler than the golf.
