They should have given Sonic the marketing job!!!!  More fool them!

The club would be in an even worse state than it is now if I was in charge of the marketing department.

fatbury, you have to bear in mind that Sunderland have a fairly large support anyway and they were playing Arsenal. We've got a relatively small supporter base and we're playing Boston... slight difference.

everyone has to also remember that the club at the moment with the prices need to get over 5,500 or something don't they? if they lower the prices, surely that average gate would have to increase!? you have to think about it....

We're never going to get decent attendances when we're bottom of the league, a lot of people just don't want to see it.

I don't think price is as big a factor as people think,I tell people you can get in for £15 quid even on the day or less in advance and if you're a student and they generally think that's pretty cheap but they're not too keen on going just because they think we're crap.

Really should be doing more to attract new fans.

Swindon has a population of 200,000 and is the fastest growing town in the UK. Yet at home games we get under 5000 and a lot of those are from outside Swindon. Why don't the club do something to attract the people in Swindon?? Letting schools in for free for example, or even putting posters up around the town.

I wish we had a competant board

Under 5000? No we dont. We have been gettin 5500-6000 this season. Apart from against Stevenage, but thats understandable.

We haven't recently....  The last few home games with the exception of Bristol have all been in the 4000s...

Forest and City games keep the avarage up, take those two out and it's a truer picture of what we will normally get.
