his interview on thisis really annoyed me.  basically, he will continue to foul people and be gobby and refuses to change.  that really helps Gurns...

I'd have him, but whether or not I'd play him is a different matter....

To be honest against Port Vale I felt our back four looked pretty good, and that we lost the game in the midfield.  I think currently we lack confidence, and continually chopping and changing the side won't help - this is particularly important at the back.  Seeing as Evans isn't ready to come back into the side, I'd leave the back four but examine the midfield and really consider all the options.  I'd also drop Bouzza - I was hoping he'd broken his fucking leg.  Not a fan at all.  Worst.  Signing.  Ever.

we need his expereince but not his petty bookings. tbh i would play him in a 4-1-3-2 system with Jenkins playing in the "Ledley King" role we saw england use on wednesday

I think we need raw enthusiasm and a bit of mean streak at the moment, so Gurney is ideal.
But we also need someone who can play football well, which is not Gurney.

Puzzling - what will Iffy do....

I'd rather have him in the team than heath or mcdermott. or pook at the moment TBH.

i just hope roberts gets a start.

I would have nothing against him playing Gurns but he really needs to stop giving away stupid free-kicks and penalties and getting booked

The first thing I read about Swindon this season was about Gurney being sent off.  I couldn't believe he was back, and I still can't.
