i don't know where to put this, so its going in here for now!

i know i should be grumpy singing king out probably etc... but i couldn't help not caring, i know i haven't been a fan as long as you lot, but since i have been a fan all we have been is shit except the playoff season. my first proper season was after the second division championship winning season. and since what have we done...not alot!

so...i couldn't help today walking out thinking 'ah, just like the good old days!' i remember walking out of the county ground, losing 3-0 to some crap team, and everyone going 'YES!! ONLY 3!'  Soapy Tit Wank the mini demonstrations (like the mcmahon demonstration) all make football, and i can't help but not caring.

i know you lot are all grumpy probably, can't blame you! but i can't help felling like this.  Cheesy  and i also know, you lot will tell me to shut up etc...

U Reds!!! Beers

Sometimes I wish i'd only supported us since we've been shit. I'd have the same attitude as you then. The trouble is alot of us remember what this club is capable of.

Who wants mid table obscurity (sp?), when you can get involved in a relegation battle?! Much more entertaining, especially later on in the season, when we're scraping for points Cool

Relegation battles are only fun when you know that you're probably good enough to stay up and have a fighting chance. I'm not sure that we have this season. Depressing.

To an extent I can see where you're coming from Johno, I've seen the club relegated a fair few times and in the past I've always felt 'oh well there's always next week/season'. I don't support Swindon because their in League one, the Championship or the premier league, I support them cos there Swindon Town. This time its different.

The clubs financial situation is dire, its not certain that the club will survive even if we maintain League one status. A relegation will almost certainly see the club fold (unless the ground redevelopment comes off) . These results could see the end of the club.

If someone can produce an argument to suggest its not that bad, please please post it. I could do with cheering up.

very true!

but i think at a time like this we have to just go to the games in numbers and support the team! i know this won't happen, but it should.
