Next manager of STFC?

He was at the County Ground today, donated £10 (out of a HUGE wad of cash) to the Trust's Red Army Fund, followed by Bob Holt (director who is never at the CG). Draw your own conclusions.

Liked him as a player, no thanks as a manager.

If he came in as a coach fine, but not as a manager....especially at our level.

Wilkins and Wise will do.  They'd instill some passion and belief in the team. It ain't gunna happen though.

Dennis Wise - Player Manager with Wilkins as number 2 sounds very good, but also too expensive, why even bother with a new wage, lets just promoted sandy gray to manager

Wise??

Dennis Wise???

More likely Morecambe & Wise, but stranger things have happened.

Who would have thought ten years ago we’d have Bernard Manning managing the team.

Wise would be tasty in that midfield even if he is knocking on he’d be ideal not sure about the temperament though and long term prospects with him as manager.

At the moment Jimmy Krankey would be preferable to the halfwit we have in charge

Why?

I bet he has something written into his contract to say if he gets offered a management job he can go....

But i'm sure he's on a fair wedge at Saints? Fair enough, he may take a pay-cut, but even if he did, we still couldn't afford him. Also, he's not desperate enough to come and manage us....

perhaps, but i would imagine he's on something like £5k a week at southampton - his last playing contract. can you really see him giving that up so that he can start managing us?!
