I went to sainsburys today,headed for the sweets section for a crunchie [cause i love that friday feeling on a monday],and what sight greeted me but rows of advent calenders :shock: :x .Autumn hasn't arrived yet for fucks sake!When i was a kid,christmas took ages to come,now its already beginning in september,i'm glad i grew up in the eighties.  |

There should be a law that seasonal events cannot be promotoed until the one preceeding it has passed, ie - do not promote xmas 'til after guy fawkes night etc... :twisted:

Yay I love it when they put the xmas stuff out in the shops  Theres also a lot of halloween stuff out too,thats one thing I hate :x Halloween is bloody pointless. |

Agree,the way halloween is 'celebrated'now is a yank invention.Basically the commercialization of events like christmas and halloween has happened because of the fucking yanks :evil: ,these are traditional celebrations that go back to pre-history and are used now as an excuse to make money.Modern life sucks . |

christmas is good cos you get money and presents and its an excuse to get pished and get fatter New years is good because you can also get pished and get fat and my favourite bit-the party poppers  Halloween is just crap because you get little shits that squeeze green shower gel all over the windows of our house,eggs through the letter box and you have to buy sweets for them.What annoys me even more is when you get 14 year old kids come to your door with just a scream mask on :x when its ickle kids though that are dressed up and they look cute its ok |
