Had 3 policies all accepted by the relevant lenders,
1 @ Black horse,
2 @ Moto Novo.
However they have accepted liability but are waiting on the latest court ruling, which the government tried to stop as it would cripple the industry. Perhaps they shouldn't have allowed to con customers in the first place and this wouldn't be an issue.
I do however have some sympathy for the lenders because it was the dealerships who were taking the piss but the lenders allowed it to happen so they took have to accept responsibility.
With the amount of credit and time frame to repay and length of time since you took the policy out you could be in for a substantial amount of the courts rule in the consumers favour.
Which I hope they do.
My policies are all for between £8-£12000 ranging back from 2008 so with the interest added I could be sitting quite pretty.

I took out a Moto Novo loan for a second hand van and a PCP deal on a new fiesta with Allen Ford. Not sure who the lenders were at the mo on that one.
