Sad

Next year I go travelling. My mum is refusing to take care of my dear old snake. I'm pretty sure my friends will refuse too. So I will have re-home the poor bastard.

So if anyone knows anyone who needs a snake then let me know.

He is about 5 Ft long and eats one mouse once a week.

why? You dont have to do anything. Just clean him once a month, feed him once a week and make sure the temperature is good.

He'd make a great friend to your dog. in a cartoony, snake and dog show kind of way.

I had a shot of snake blood in Taiwan in the infamous snake market.

Crazy foos are really into it out there and really believe that it gives you the sexual prowess of Barrymore on Viagra.

One nut job was parading his wife up and down and was going to prove it's effectiveness and offered people a go.  We ran of though as he wanted to lock down his red bulb lit little garage/market stall crammed full of 50 crazy punters.

I did try Alpaca in Peru but drew the line at Guiniea Pig Curry.

Talking of travelling Peru and Bolivia has given me the itch and kick up the backside to get going again on the travelling front.  The plan had been for me and a mate to depart in 2007 but not sure I can actaully wait that long now and want to depart Oct 2006(ish)

Looking for a full 12 months of going AWOL so it's going to take some serious spondoolies.  Fortunately new apartment should provide a nice little rental income while away.

Strongly recommend doing a TEFL course if your thinking of working at any stage.  It's just shy of a grand for the full qualification that you want but it's something that will guarantee you work well above anything you could earn in a lot of countries.

Provisional hit list to date is....

Asia

Thailand (at least two full moons)
Cambodia
Vietnam (may be brief as herd very much mixed reports)
Hong Kock (Brief as pricey as fuck)

Australia (Travel only as WHM visa used)
NZ
Fiji/Samoa (Possibly dependant on price from above)
Picairn Island (In the interest of Mutiny on the Bounty and incest)

Saarf America

Cuba
Argentina
Chile
Peru
Brazil (Rio carnival)
Puerto Rico & Dominican Republic

Norff America

Mexico
States (Vegas - burning man festival, Miami....)

Unfortunately the route I want to go is particularly tricky with round the world ticket deals etc so going to have to work up an itinery that won't leave a great deal of flexibility at times.
