We'll need more than luck to beat Bournemouth on Saturday. Some general fitness and inspiration from management and coaching staff might not go amiss too.

It is true however that we have not had much luck in the last 3 games. We were unlucky to lose those away games.

We were unlucky but the biggest reason we didn't win was 4-5-1.

Yep, very unlucky esp. with all the chances we created, and the ones that came back off the wood work etc

I suppose you are right, unlucky to lose....but no where near good enough to win

Remember a couple of seasons back Bormuff came to the CG and hadn't scored in about 8 games....it took Hayter about 5 mins.

In fact he always scores against us.

The early goal at the CG is becoming a bit too regular.....that shit Elliot did it after about 1 min last season.

We are a very ordinary side.....its difficult to find a single player other than perhaps Fallon at the moment...who looks anything like decent enough for this level.

When we were in the play-offs in 03/04, who thought Fallon would be our first choice striker in two years time?

How depressing.

Quite a few people did, when Fallon was brought here a lot of people assumed he would be Parkin's replacement, although they were assuming that Parkin would be sold at the end of 2003/2004.

The reason he is now our first choice striker is because he is playing well and that's not depressing. Good for him.

I dunno bud. Fallon was spot on at that time. Fanastic away at Luton. That goal against City. Not to mention the goal that should have put us in the play off final.

Think we all knew it would happen eventually, still imagine if we had flogged Fallon and say Cureton was our main striker, would that not be even more depressing?

At the time we had Mooney and Parkin, nobody expected them to stay forever - especially Parkin - but Fallon was bought in as third choice striker, that's not to say he didn't shine though, I went to Luton and Wycombe away and we all remember that goal against City.

It just shows how we've moved backwards lately.

It was obvious we would, hell we all knew Sam Parkin would go eventually, he was the best player in this league.

We werent likely to replace him, even if the board had given King some of the money to spend, which they clearly didnt....what Sam Parkin money?

Kings saving grace used to be the fact that we had progress every season under him, which WAS true....

He was brought in as third choice striker at the time but with a view to becoming first choice striker in the near future which is why he's one of the very few players we've recently bought for a fee.

We've moved backwards because of finances forcing us to sell our best player but compare our strikeforce to 5 years ago and it's better.
