Rational head on, Mansfield made enough chances to win that game twice over. But they didn't, and sometimes that happens.

Don’t think they created any more than we did.
I didn’t think MM had a lot to do in goal

Not having that Mansfield should've won. Fully deserved victory for me

Judging by how their first team only just beat our U18s in midweek that does not shock me.

I thought that it was a lousy confidence builder for Exeter, totally backfired.

Absolutely, if we played either Kemp, Young or Austin against them we would probably have beaten them in all honesty. God awful team.

Hope this is a kickstart for Kinsella as well, we looked much more solid (than us normally, still occasionally heart stopping compared to most football teams) with the extra man in midfield and him sitting clearly freed up Khan to play his best game for ages in a more box to box way. McE off the pace today but hope we stick with three central rather than just dropping McEachran.

For all we rightly complain about inexperienced signings, Kinsella was exactly the right profile but it just hasn't worked yet. Let's hope this is the moment it does.

Flynn:
- Good for everyone. We all needed it
- Fans have stuck with us in the last month, when we should have won more
- Solid performance for the whole game
- They have been working hard and the players are as fed up as the rest of us
- Talk is cheap but they have proved themselves today
- We are still only 2 points outside the playoffs after a bad month
- Austin as sub: Didnt change the dynamic. We were concerned about Reed running the game and their diamond over running us in midfield
- The formation meant that if we won the ball upfield then Kemp could find space
- Austin has been brilliant for Flynn. Told Austin he needed a rest.
- Its hard. We have a small squad. But Austin understood.
- Poor goal to concede. Lapse of concentration
- We should have had a clear penalty. Ref admitted to Flynn that he got it wrong a bit later on in the game
- Justice done that we went on to score. Thought it might have been like last week when we were robbed
- Got what we deserved with the win
- Minturn: Thought he was excellent. He was very good last week too
- Now Hawes should stop asking about whether conceding late is down to fitness. Its not. We scored in the 93rd min
- Brewitt: Tendonitis. RHM: Sore knee. Nothing sinister.

Unnecessary flippant comment about Andrew Hawes. Considering the way games have generally gone it's an absolutely fair question from the interviewer

I didn’t listen to the interview, but could it have been tongue in cheek? If not, disappointing, considering all Andrew Hawes has done is ask very reasonable questions

Smokescreen for dropping Chas, extra midfielder, Kinsella, was key today.  Chas on late, expect the same on Tuesday.

Yes, it was all said very jovially. But, Flynn was serious.
