The dip in both FBT and UGM’s form is a worry

I think they're both playing differently right? I know UGM just bombed forward but I think they're playing much more conventional CB roles than they were earlier in the season.

Two absolutely bang average L2 teams cancelling each other out to the point that nobody wished they had bothered

A lot of our good stuff has come from their runs forward though. They don’t have to get far to cause some defensive panic.

But that was our USP. The Kevin Keegan era was gold. This is horrid L2 dross.

Hawes captured it well with "Austin back in RB position clears it"

Definitely, we aren’t as open but we suffer going forward for it.

An average L2 first half with the teams separated by a moment of quality from the best footballer in the division. If he still is in this division in February I'll be stunned.

That was a grim watch. About 3 phases of football played in the whole half. The rest was garbage.

Half the players look like they can’t be arsed.

A bit sloppy but still good stuff.  Need to come out and get a fast goal and things will be good

Dull first half. One piece of quality by Kemp.

Lots and lots of mistakes.

Strange game, both teams are absolutely woeful and incapable of pulling off the simplest of passes. We’re in the lead thanks to one moment of quality. Our back line seem to have been sucked into a physical battle they are never going to win rather than just focusing on defending.

A big area of concern is the pitch, it seems really slow. The grass seems long, cut unevenly and has tramlines that in it and is starting cut up. Not sure if it’s the poor prep in the summer or rain we’ve had but I can see it struggling over winter. Ironically it helped for our goal as it held the ball up.
