It's about £7 difference. Which doesn't sound a lot but times that by say 10 games.
This is the thing. It's cumulative cost. Becoming a pensioner and living 180 miles away has virtually ruled out me attending home games now. Luckily there a a few fixtures in the south east that are within reasonable reach, but for instance Saturday cost me a small fortune. Reckon on about 8-10 games this season. Guess I'll have to move back to Wiltshire!

sorry to hear that Adje + sippo.

IMO there is also a mental line where even though an increase is small "only another £2" for example but suddenly you are at £30 and can see the opportunity cost v doing something else with the money.

Don't the club do some sort of reduced price tickets for a certain number of kids each game, likely via schools if I remember correctly.  May not help this time out for anyone, but mentioning more for future reference/to find out the details.

Decent crowd shaping up for Saturday. Good sales in both the side stands, fair way to go in the Town End but not looking bad. Would be excellent to have a big lively crowd for the opener

If weather prevents my family walk near Stroud tomorrow so I am permitted to catch the train, can I get a ticket okay on match day? Does it have to be by a certain time? Or can I rock up close to three?

You can buy tickets right up to half time I believe. Not sure if it's online only or if they abandoned that plan.

Cue the sound of multiple Fjortoft fanboys furiously rummaging in their trousers and bombarding him with tweets saying how much they love him. Most odd.

Edit - Although he is clearly preferable to Phil Smith, Hockaday and that superfan chap!

good commentators in football are few and far between. most are painful to listen to and just state the obvious.
