I am travelling back from NZ in August for 3 weeks and have been trying to get tickets for Colchester match and FGR.

For reasons have not been able to get them on line. Trried ringing as well without success.

Can some help Cheers

Apologies if you tried this already but did you go to the Colchester website? I think they are usually on sale on there so wouldn’t show on the STFC tickets site.

Colchester - https://tickets.colchesterunited.net/Tickets/BuyTickets/SeatSelection/34572?away=true

FGR tickets are not yet on sale - when they are you probably will get them here -

https://www.fgr.co.uk/tickets/match

Edit - Tickets for FGR are likely to go on sale to Season Ticket holders first so you might need to rope in a favour from someone to get you a ticket as they may not make general sale given the small allocation.

SAS Travel do coaches for Colchester, it's £25 and leaves the CG at 9.30am - their number is 07535 917872 or you can email them on sastravel@sky.com.

I’ve got a spare seat (in fact three). But you’d have to get to Peterborough 😂

I got my ticket on the Colchester website, they are much cheaper if you buy in advance and you can download & print

Have emailed and a standard reply is they don't take books .. have forwarded message to the Trust in hope someone there might be able to help
Even sent a message to a chap called Russ as in Two grumpy old STFC supporters following Town in hope they might want a third grumpy 😠  old fart ... still no reply.

If you can get yourself from New Zealand to England, surely you can get to Essex?

You should give Del Griffith a shout.

Alien (couldn't find a plane or a train so had to improvise!)

2.5hr on the train would be a breeze.
