Walsall apparently in talks to sign Jesse Debrah

I thought he had gone to Barnsley?

Know-it-all Nixon said yesterday the move to Barnsley was pretty much a done deal, but that never happened. I wonder if Debrah's agent is angling for more ££ and Walsall are taking the bait.

Hopefully he fancies a move further south and Flynn can get involved.

Jake Jervis, formerly of this Parish, is also playing in India. (for East Bengal FC) I think India are making a small play for these type of players. Bangalore have some kind of link up with Rangers, so there is perhaps a bit of a Scottish link there.

Accrington make their 2nd signing Josh Andrews from Birmingham.

Walsall sign keeper Jackson Smith from Wolves, their 8th new signing so far.

Newport sign defender Ryan Delaney from Morecambe making him their 7th new signing and look set to sell Omar Bogle to an unnamed club.

Tranmere sign defender Joe Yarnley from Oldham their 7th new signing.

AFC Wimbledon look set to sign midfielder James Ball from Rochdale for their 10th signing of this season.

Bogle would be a decent signing. Better than 1 in 3 overall, mainly above L2 as well.

yeah he's someone you can look at and say 'i can see why the signed him' even if it goes wrong.

I'll temper my excitement though!

I think we are now the only L2 side not to make a permanent signing after Accrington signed Kelvin Mellor…

Positive spin. It’s good to see us being so selective. I’d rather nobody (for now) than Harries and co. Unlike last season, we have a manager and assistant that know what is needed in this league.
