They changed the material after. The design was actually pretty good apart from having blue on the home for some reason.

Don't let it get wet, it will come through the ceiling!

I keep going on about how we should bin the big brands after Puma and go for someone a bit random, Mizuno in the 90s totally fits that bill. Random Japanese brand.
Minus the itchy collar round neck that Mark Walters used to cut open to make his own collar, they were some quality kits and the GK ones show that. That purple one and the jigsaw one as well. Very 90s.
Mizuno got quite 'big' in the sportswear world for a bit in the 90s didn't they? From memory quite a lot of guys in my school had mizuno bags and were sporting mizuno jumpers.

They seemed to have more of a presence than they do now. Seems to be mostly a golf brand.
I'd love to know what happened to Strikeforce. Some of our best kits.

That third one is a thing of beauty, still got mine and can still fit in to it when i'm not quite so fat and getting to the gym. Must have been a tent on me at the time.

Actually looking at it, there are not many kits that have got my juices running. https://www.footballkitarchive.com/swindon-town-kits/#2000sIn all my time I've only had 93-94 home, 97-99 away (that is the one shirt I loved!) 200-02 away (no idea why I had that, its rank!) and 09-10 away! The Puma ones are all meh, and actually looking back not sure most of the Adidas ones were much better!

Puma have had some crackers with a few not great ones. Adidas were all pretty good.
Lotto both times a mixed bag as well. Some nice ones but their first home kit was almost pink. Lonsdale weren't great at all.
Loved the Strikeforce ones.
Was a fan of Xara too but they suffered from sponsor peel off Kingswood style.

Talking of companies who used to make a lot of football kits but now seemingly don’t ASICS. Some absolutely classics in the 90s

Hummel kits are quite distictive with the chevrons.
I think that AFC Wimbledon might have been the last club to have an Admiral kit, possibly not that long ago.
