Anyone particularly hope Arsenal beat Man C?  Surprised how much I want it to happen to be honest.

Couldn't be more the opposite. Hope they get hammered 5-0 and look forward to tuning into Arsenal Fan TV straight after.

Ditto. Not sure why. I think its simply because of Piers Morgan.

Don't really watch much Prem, but will dip into this.

I too dont really care about the Prem, never watch MotD any more its all about money and qualifying for the Eruo cups now. The big clubs get bigger the others fight for scraps and the wages are obscene.

I have no hatred for Man City but I do massively dislike the Arse and would love them to fuck up, the step daughter is a gooner and she tells me how great they are yada yada so it will shut her up.

That said Haaland is a beast, a huge physical lump of an athlete who can run, head and score with half a chance from what I have seen of him.

One of my best mates is an Arsenal fan, he was wanting Arteta out most of last season. This season he hasn’t shut up about how great they are and how they’re going to win it.

So for that reason, I hope Man City hammer them.

I do watch the games when i can be bothered.

I have my likes and dislikes.

Someone at work is a Leicester fan and asked me who i wanted to go down.

Bournemouth three times was my answer!

Soft spot for City and Leeds as i remember the huge mobs they took to the CG when they were shit.

Not too keen on United and Spurs.

I'd rather Arsenal because of the egragious abuses of finanicial doping from City but when it comes down to it I'm not really bothered.

Therein lies the mind of the average football fan.

A friend took me to the Emirates to watch Arsenal vs Leeds a few weeks back, and Arsenal won 4-1. You'd barely have known it though - the 'Highbury Library' atmosphere is still alive and kicking. A few thousand fans at a League One/Two match made more noise. I'll still watch it though, out of curiousity for the result and to see some top-notch players. I expect City will win, especially considering their current form and Arsenal's slight dip. There's probably not much difference in the betting odds.

Edit: Arsenal won 4-1, not 4-0

As a Town fan I think it's probably down to the fact they get away with financial misdemeanours that I want them to lose. That and the fact that the media, especially BBC seem to me have been cloyingly desperate for them to overhaul Arsenal.

City. Simply because they are one of the best club teams I've ever seen. And Haaland. What a player

I’d rather Arsenal do it - just because a friend of mine who passed last August was an Arsenal fan and season ticket holder but I won’t lose any sleep over it, if they don’t.
