My vote was Artell, but Morris seemed a bit inspired at the time.

Likewise it was pretty unanimous that people were happy that Morris was the best choice that Clem could make.

Nope, would have gone for Artell.

That said, wasn’t unhappy with the appointment of morris at the time.

Were they? There were quite a few voices on this site that weren’t convinced.

Have we ever played a more Candy Floss of a midfield than we ended up with today - Cain, Darcy and Williams.  Bloody hell, Mike Wazowski would have an easier time scaring an opposition midfielder.

My personal opinion is that we are:
Worse than under Sheridan
Worse than under Jimmy Quinn
Worse than under Iffy
Worse than under Paul Hart

I know it's subjective, Paul Hart was frustrating as he surrendered our league position by trying not to lose.

I think Morris is at least  trying to win, just can't.

He also said him and Austin discussed other things apart from this game
Yeah, I couldn't be arsed to type that. He said:

- Lots of people suggest there is more to it: There is nothing to it. We spoke really well at a meeting we had. If I'm not going to start you then I might leave you behind.....Absolutely no problem. We had a chat about other stuff as well, which me and 'im were more than on the same page. Like I said. I just wanted to look at something else with people who could go in behind and across the top. And him to make sure he is ready to train when we get back
- What can we do to halt the slide? Defend better. Not gift goals away. And add a bit of quality in the final third. We created chances that we should have scored from. If you are not gifting goals then we could have knicked a 1-0 away from home, which would be much needed. We've had more than enough ball today to use and cause teams problems. We've just not used it well enough.

Worse than under Gav

We were great under Gav.

4 points and 8 goals in two games.
Much better than the 0 points and 2 goals from our current last two.

Yippee! All is not lost. I’ve just had an email from a dear friend, who I’ve never heard of, in Africa telling me that he has $80,000,000 in a bank account for me.

All he wants is my bank details.

What shall I spend it on??

Sheridan was worse, but we didn’t have to suffer it first hand.
Paul Hart was even more dull, one isolated up front but we could at least defend

The other two were respected former players, who were in a terrible position and given a bit more leeway so we look back with less ill will.

But it’s certainly in the same ball park now, it’s definitely a real shit show

Under hard and Sheridan we were at least in league 1. I thought the Phil Brown season was pretty bad. Iffy and Quinn did good jobs under difficult circumstances. Could do with football people with affinity to the club like them when times are tuff.

Tom Blewitt:
- Massively frustrating
- The amount of ball we had throughout the game. We didnt create the quality chances we needed
- There was a reaction from Saturday, but not enough to win the game
- Hate conceding. Really disappointing
- We had enough to take 3 points
- Always difficult wjen teams put 10-11 behind the ball
- With the quality we have in the team we should have created something
- Goal came at a bad time, but we responded well
- When we win 1 we will likely win a couple
- All on board with what the manager is trying to do
- We are all together as a team
- We don't fear the opposition. We should be winning
- Nice to play in the NW and have family here.
- Form: Great to come in but frustrated that we haven't won any games. We should be winning
- Nice to come in and be a mainstay of the team!

Come on Clem prove you are not a front for some dodgy character owners and are a genuine STFC owner and want to put the current shit show right.
Forget developing the Bank and use the funds to remove the Academy coach, his mate and the laptop data wizard.
Eat humble pie and give Artell free rein as a proper league 2 manager and get him in.
Failing that give it to Charlie Austin with Gunning until the summer,
Bin off the released kids and injury prone youngsters- this is men’s football not snotty nosed prima Donna teenage football.
Get out this shit and year on year getting worse division by buying a spine of men (not kids) who have been there, brought the t shirt etc.
Fill the remaining squad places with young talent if need be but not the injury prone show ponies.
You must be totally blinkered if you think the “saved our club” goodwill remains - numbers will rapidly decrease and the atmosphere will become very toxic unless you act now!!!
Next season would have been my 45th consecutive as a season ticket holder - I want entertainment for £4 not the shit we have put up with all season and you now want £400…….
