I went to school in Witney and there are rough areas, generally it's easy to avoid them and the people from there. Woodgreen or Henry Box ? henry box abingdon's the roughest place i know actually, never felt intimidated there though.

Birmingham for a night out is really good with an excellent atmosphere.
for a quiet drink chippy will do but not for a night out

exactly but banbury (which was the real disscusion) is for me a lot worse than Birmingham for a night out. FACT
