a few nice houses doesn't make it a nice town.
everytime i went out in Banbury there was a fight.
too many pubs full of chavs.
ok last time i went was 3 years ago but it's a shit hole.
i feel safer walking round birmingham

Carterton, Witney and Bicester are worse.
Always get trouble in Bicester.
:? :? :? Carterton yes. full of so called hard squadies and the rought lot from Bampton  Witney is a relaxed town with a good atmosphere. Bicester is ok. worked there for over 2 years and met some pretty ace people. My mum still works there and there is hardley ever any trouble |

Banbury is nowhere near as bad as Manchester, London, Liverpool or Birmingham.
Just an average English town with a few beer boys and slappers, nothing unusual.

Witney is the town i dislike the most, trust me, i've drunk in all these Oxfordshire towns and Bicester, Carterton and Witney were the worse by far.
when i worked in Eynsham i was out in Witney every other night as my mate was living there and i did this for over 2 years. Not once did i see a fight or feel threatend. Carterton i never went out in cos i know it's a dive. Bicester is ok. Not really a night out though is it |
