Called it! That's a good move. I imagine it will probably be extended to a 6 month loan assuming he does well.

We should have a closer relationship to Bath City.

Historically they have had good relations with Bristol Rovers which came from Rovers using their ground after they left Twerton back in the 90s.

We should be forging relationships with Chippenham, Salisbury and Bath, keep the players local to the loan clubs.

They have a very nice little set up there, and a higher ceiling than Chips, being in bath. Hopefully Holloway can grow that relationship. I’d like to see a couple of players being sent there every season.

Charlie Betts has joined Supermarine on loan.  That's five players there now.  FA Cup today.  Foye is starting. Alston, Myers and Betts on the bench.  No sign of Gonzales still, since his sending off in the last round.

Loan Update:

Sonny Hart is an unused sub for the 8th game in a row as the wait for his League debut continues.

Redman Evans gets an assist and saves a penalty as Alvechurch beat Leamington 3-0 in the FA Cup 2nd round qualifying.

Jaxon Brown didn’t have a game for Hashtag United as they are out the FA Cup.

No Jake Tabor in Bath City’s FA Cup squad presumably due to registration.

Swindon Supermarine lost 3-0 to Hungerford Town in the FA Cup 2nd round qualifying. Owen Foye started while Alston, Betts and Myers are named as subs. No Dani Gonzalez in the squad again.

Harry Gray played 90 minutes as Melksham Town lost 2-0 to Bideford AFC.

Finn Tombs started as Royal Wootton Bassett FC lost 3-0 to Lydney Town AFC.

I presume with so many youngsters being loaned out, it is so they can experience 'Men's' football, does this weaken the U18's loaning so many out ?

Definately it does, on Saturday we were beaten 4-1 at Stevenage, last season we got a 3-3 draw away by comparison, we also got beat last week 4-2 at home by Cambridge.

They have won 1 out of their 7 games this season, in comparison to the last few years they seem to be top few teams in the league.
