Two crap sides Saturday, although Darcy was a breath of fresh air when he came on - think he'll go down well here, very likeable and positive play style.

Not taking any notice of the pre-season results but I think Cardiff is likely to be a good barometer as to how ready we are for the season ahead. The new signings will have had a week to train with the squad and hopefully work on how Lindsay wants to put the side together. Hopefully now we know Payne is going to Charlton we can bring in the last couple of players to compliment the squad and we'll be ready for the 'assault' on league 2.

£15 for a pre season friendly? Think I'll give it a miss.

It is not cheap, it is not expensive, however, IMHO if you’re of limited budget the £15 may seem excessive for a friendly in comparison to a full 1st team game.

I can afford it, that's not the issue, but it's not comparable to a league game, for which I was only paying £19 last season.

Sorry to drag this out, but I get the impression it is. FWIW I won’t be going, because of work and I still would not go even if I wasn’t working. I’d like to see a club higher up than Cardiff in a PSF but accept that being in League 2 that is not going to happen. So I’ll be saving £15 and spend it at the club on maybe a few pints in my namesake at sometime.

May not seem a lot if you live within walking distance of the ground, However, for people living 40+ miles out of town that adds another twenty quid on top for fuel,  so,  not such a cheap day out.

Or nearer £60 if you live even farther away
