Hard one this ,
id love it if there was a pub open that I could grab a pint at on the way home from work at 6 am  it would be a nice little wind down. But on the days that Im off i think id still probably go home at the same time which is 11 ish but Im old and tired and these days only seem to be able to consume a decent amount of alchohol at home sat in front of the computer/Tv.

If I started too early, probably when I got thrown out.  I wouldn't go until alot later if they were open 24/7.  My Belgain housemate always used to go 'Fucking hell, why can't we go to a bar now, stupid fucking country', if we were up talking at 3/4/5.  He was right though...

Unless on a silly session I'd probably be there to booting time in a nightclub which even with 24/7 I'd expect at most places would still be no later than 6AM.

I think the best part would be just being able to take your time on a night out without the stress of closing time and getting to clubs before deadlines and such like.

Seems to work well every where else in the world.

I still have my youth but I'd be calling it a day by about 1am if I didn't have to up particularly early the next day.  I don't have much stamina, especially with alcohol inside me, and I'm ready to hit the hay by 12.  Plus I drink in the next town as I go to college there so I'd have to get the last train home anyway at 23:23, so if they were open 24/7 I'd probably miss my train!

I do hate how they have that rigid 11pm law just because of the workers in WW2 - why was it introduced 7 days a week and not just on weekdays or something?  Or is there more to it than that (probably)?
