So who was watching the boutique footy tonight? It's quite enjoyable seeing a game where you can afford to relax and try a few things out. OK, we were playing kids, but the signs are we've got a few footballers in the club this year.

Don't think you can draw too many conclusions from that. Dabre was certainly keen to impress and did well. Hopefully we can have a little bit of a run in this competition, I'm sure it will be very beneficial for the fringe players like Dabre, Aguiar etc...

I only watched the last hour but thought little Dabre looked like he could be a good player. I also thought Tyrese Simpson did very well when he came on, looked big, strong and quick and was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet.

I reckon Simpson could have got 2 or 3 had he been on for the whole game.

Yeah I agree with this. I also noticed Arsenal's keeper looked ropey as hell. I think I saw at least 3 goal kicks where he basically kicked it straight to one of our players. His handling appeared suspect also.

I dunno, it can get you a Man Utd squad number and a call up to the Czech national team?

Not excusing it as he is a pro keeper but you have to wonder if playing at a 'big' stadium in front of a crowd has such a negative effect on these guys. We saw it with Kovar last season and this guy seemed to be a huge bag of nerves. I know in the Under 23s they play in front of a handful of colleagues so could the fact 2,500 fans are there cause these guys to turn to shit?
