Looking at purchasing a new combi boiler as ours is now 15 years old, and each service needs another part replacing which are becoming harder to source.

Has anyone used BOXT at all? If so, what were they like?

They seem to be 1k cheaper than British Gas for the same work etc (yes i know BG are robbing bastards)

Cheers

Not used personally.

But replaced ours in 2019, and used a local tradesman. Very happy with the tidiness and work done.
Vaillant Combi installed for 2640 with 10 year warranty.

Same chap comes back annually to service it, and vs the monthly cost of support from BG or equivalent is also good value.

I don't know what BOXT quoted but that's a benchmark.

Trustreview suggests BOXT is pretty good though.

We are probably going to be needing to do something with our boiler as the one in our new place is ancient and takes yonks to heat the place up.

Is that £2265 basically all in, as in including the fitting of the boiler and parts etc? I always assumed it was nearer 5k for a new boiler and for it to be fitted etc.

Well went ahead with this.

Ordered Sunday, came today. Could have had it done tuesday.

Guy was here at 730 this morning and had finished by 2. Top job done, all work left spotless etc.

Would recommend.

We've got Boxt coming next week to fit a new combi, I'd heard good things about them 2nd hand and their prices are really hard to beat, glad to know your experience stacks up too!
