A few players showed in patches. No one stood out throughout. If in doubt, vote for talent.

Tempted to give it to Fryers or J Smith as our best spell was after the subs were made, but DJ for me. Brighter in more patches than most.

Finding this very difficult to call.
DJ looked very good at times, but without any productivity. Didn't score, didn't set up any chances for others. Didn't work the keeper (apart from a header)
Grounds, Conroy and Fryers didn't do much wrong. Not much to call between them.
Will think more!

Had to go with DJ ... Some class moves just unfortunate on the end result 👏

Went with Zeki Fryers. Sounds bizarre but there was a calmness from him in his short reprisal. Something this defence has missed for a good while. If we can retain his services, via him staying fit then he likely has to start most games.

Went with DJ, generally our best player for most of the game, perhaps faded a little towards the end, but he had a good game for me

Went with Fryers, looked head and shoulders above anyone else on our team

The team performance was not so much mixed as disjointed.
For me, there was only one individual who seemed to be striving tirelessly to lift the torpor and who exhibited flashes that threatened to impact on the result.
That was DJ.
Still not comfortable and, near post nit picks aside, I thought Kovar showed small signs of continuing improvement as well as a classy (but heart in mouth) drag back!

DJ was easily the best player for me.
