Matt Smith for me but could easily have been Caddis, Payne or Stevens.
Pitman did very little wrong as did J Smith, Grant started slow but grew into the game too.

Lots of good performances. Matt Smith brilliant first half, faded but so did most of the team. Payne similar. Fryers played very well apart from the second goal where he lost his man. Will go for Payne but plenty of candidates.

Payne for me, such a good signing for the way we play. He must be enjoying himself.

He's looked very busy in all the games so far without much really coming off, until today that is. I think he'll benefit from Pitman being in the team, and the more used to each other the front players get, the better I can see him being.

Caddis for me, because he played strongly the whole game and didn't fade, as some, understandably, did.

Clearly Caddis for me. Set the tone early and was everywhere. Matt Smith only played last 60 mins on ifollow. Palmer did well in his absence!
How did he get that so consistently wrong FFS?

Caddis gave the ball away too much.
Matt Smith for me. Effortlessly bosses the game.
